Abstract
PURPOSE:To cut the central hole and the outside periphery with high accuracy under noncontact state by detecting pit lines of a base plate wherein digital information is recorded and calculating the central point of an eddy of the pit lines to cut the central hole and the outside periphery situated at the prescribed distance from the central point by a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:The plural spiral pit lines 2 up to the outermost peripheral pit lines 4 from the innermost peripheral pit lines 3 are formed in the longitudinal direction of the base plate 1 on the polycarbonate slender tabular base plate 1. Next, a part covered by a reflection film 6 is cut off from the base plate 1 and set on a rotary base 7. Next, after the center of graduations of a microscope 10 is fitted to one pit of the innermost peripheral pit lines 3, the deviation of the innermost peripheral pits 3 at each position of 90 deg., 180 deg. and 270 deg. of the rotary base 7 is measured. Then, the base plate 1 is moved in the direction in opposition to the deviation and the central point of the pit lines 2 is coincident with a rotation axis of the rotary base 7. Next, the position separated by the distance from the central point of the pit lines 2 to the determined inside periphery is cut by the laser beam 12a. Next, the position separated by the distance from the central point of the pit lines 2 to the determined outside periphery is cut in the same way.
