PURPOSE:To cut the central hole and the outside periphery with high accuracy under noncontact state by detecting pit lines of a base plate wherein digital information is recorded and calculating the central point of an eddy of the pit lines to cut the central hole and the outside periphery situated at the prescribed distance from the central point by a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:The plural spiral pit lines 2 up to the outermost peripheral pit lines 4 from the innermost peripheral pit lines 3 are formed in the longitudinal direction of the base plate 1 on the polycarbonate slender tabular base plate 1. Next, a part covered by a reflection film 6 is cut off from the base plate 1 and set on a rotary base 7.
