Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform valve timing adjustment easily by rotating a rocking central part of a rocker arm in centering on a turning central part of a cam, and installing a rockable guide member between a rocker arm tip and a valve stem. CONSTITUTION:A pivot receiving member 16 of a rocker arm 13 is connected to a rockable lever 20 in centering on a turning central part B of cams 11, 12, and a rocking central part A of the rocker arm 13 in centering on the turning central part B of these cams 11 and 12. A rockable guide member 26 is installed between a tip of the rocker arm 13 and a valve stem 3A. Then, valve timing is adjusted by rotating the lever 20. With this constitution, since adjustment is mechanically and dynamically performed without any strain, it can be done easily.
