PURPOSE: To provide a device for cutting a towel fabric, capable of efficiently cutting the towel fabric by carrying a long towel fabric along a predetermined passage route, arranging space portions at a right angle to a towel fabric- carrying direction by the use of an arranging device, cutting the space portion, drawing out the formed towel piece, and further repeating the operations. CONSTITUTION: A long towel fabric 1 is carried along a predetermined passage route 2 in the direction of the arrow X, and subsequently the tip of the plain weave portion 1b of the towel fabric is held with grips 43 and drawn back to the position of a draw-starting portion 5.
