Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease an illuminance irregularity at a whole area of reading line by providing the center of a reflective mirror with an inclined specular surface which is formed so that a reflected light to a light incident from a source of light may turn to the both ends of an original. CONSTITUTION:A reflective mirror 6 has a round projection in its center part compared with both end part. 6a is the left half of a specular surface at its projection and 6b is the right half of a specular surface. On the other hand, 6d and 6c are flat specular surface of the both end of the reflective mirror. The reflected light at the specular surface 6d and 6c of the both ends hits straight the part corresponding to an original 1, but the reflected light at the projection part of the center spreads according to the curvature of its specular surface, the reflected light at the specular surface 6a and 6b is extended to the both end of a reading-out line of the original 1. By this, a quantity of light at the both end part is increased and an exposure irregularity at all the area of the reading-out line on the original 1.
