光し、光電変換素子(以下CCDイメージセンサ
)で受光して画像を読み取る画像読み取り装置に
おいて、受光面での光量分布を任意に得ることが
できるように、該光源ランプ(以下光源蛍光灯)
と原稿面間において、表面の一部または全面には
微小プリズムを直線状でしかもストライプ状に複
数個並設し、各々のプリズム屈折面が階段状に屈
折角の異なつている方形状板レンズを形成し、少
なくとも1個配設したことを特徴とする画像読み
取り装置。 2 方形板レンズ上に形成されたプリズム屈折角
を、該方形板レンズ中央付近から順次変えたこと
を特徴とする請求範囲第1項記載の画像読み取り
装置。 3 該方形板レンズ面上にはプリズムが少なくと
も片面上に形成されたことを特徴とする請求範囲
第1項記載の画像読み取り装置。 4 受光面での光量分布が均一になるように、方
形板レンズが少なくとも一方の面に、ストライプ
状のプリズムを方形レンズの長手方向と直交方向
に凸又は凹レンズ機能をもつようなプリズム屈折
