PURPOSE:To obtain a bright renticular lens of large visual field angles by forming a total reflection surface on the sloped parts between the crest and trough parts of a medium, and forming lens surfaces on the crest and trough parts. CONSTITUTION:A lens surface of a circular shape in section is formed on the peak surface 1a of each crest part 1 and a lens surface of a concave surface shape is formed on the bottom surface 2a of each trough part 2. The parts 1 and the parts 2 are connected to each other by means of sloped parts 3, and total reflection surfaces 3a are formed on the parts 3. When parallel light is made incident from an opposite surface 4, it advances rectilinear in the medium, reflects on the lens surfaces of the surfaces 1a and the surfaces 2a, and diffuses. The light incident to the surfaces 3a of the parts 3 is totally relfected and emits from the surfaces 1a of the parts 1. Therefore, the bright renticular lens of large visual field angles is obtained.
