  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 原信号に対し時間的に進み及び遅れの関係にあ
    る第１、第２の信号を出力する遅延回路手段と、 前記原信号、第１、第２の信号を入力し、これ
    らの信号が同一時間に呈するレベルのうち最大レ
    ベルと最少レベルをそれぞれ選択出力する最大レ
    ベル選択手段、及び最少レベル選択手段と、 前記原信号における白レベル信号と黒レベル信
    号の立上り部、及び立下り部に、白レベル信号の
    方が少なく加わるようにしてプリシユート及びオ
    ーバーシユート波形を付加し、輪郭の強調された
    輪郭補正信号を出力する輪郭補正回路と、 前記最大レベル選択手段からの信号、及び前記
    輪郭補正信号とがそれぞれ入力として供給され、
    出力として上記輪郭補正信号に付加されたプリシ
    ユート、及びオーバーシユートが除去され、白レ
    ベル信号の立上り部、及び立下り部の急峻度が黒
    レベル信号の立上り部、及び立下り部の急峻度よ
    り小さくされた波形を出力するシユート波形除去
    手段と、 を具備したことを特徴とする画質改善回路。
