Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure a high critical current value by applying the hot hydrostatic pressure press (HIP) processing and forming an elaborate compression body to mold a work while filling and sealing it in a metal case. CONSTITUTION:The R-A-Cu-O superconductive ceramic powder is filled and sealed in a metal case, then the HIP processing is applied to this metal case to mold a superconductive ceramic compression body. This compression body is molded into a work with the preset shape. An R-A-Cu-O superconductive ceramic work with the high theoretical density ratio and resultantly a high critical current value can be produced with the simple process at a low cost.
