Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an oxygen suppler capable of discharging an appropriate amt. of oxygen for a long time without causing contamination of environment by housing an inorganic hydrogen peroxide compd. in a vessel constituted of films permeable for oxygen and steam but impermeable for water. CONSTITUTION:A part or whole part of a vessel is constructed with films permeable for oxygen and steam but impermeable for water. Suitable film is a film prepd. by mixing polyolefin such as PE, etc., with an inactive inorganic fine particles such as CaCO3, etc. Inorganic hydrogen peroxide compd. such as NaBO2.H2O2, K2CO3.2H2O2.1/2H2O, Na4P2O7.2H2O2, etc., is housed in said vessel. When said vessel is thrown into water as an oxygen supplier, steam permeates the film and invades into the vessel causing a reaction with said hydrogen peroxide compd. and generates oxygen, which permeates said film and is supplied to water contg. fishery products. The oxygen is generated by a fixed amt. corresponding to the amt. of invaded steam for a long time. Accordingly, there is no fear for causing contamination of environment by the water generated thereby.
