Abstract
PURPOSE:To make possible the substantially instantaneous ignition and to reduce odor which generates upon extinguishing flames, by forming a plurality of air feed ports for feeding air flowing in from the external side with respect to a mixed gas flowing out of a first housing, at the parts of a second housing opposing the tip end of the first housing. CONSTITUTION:When a premixed gas composed of atomized fuel and primary air is fed into a spray chamber 1 through an ultrasonic injection nozzle 13 and the gasification of the premixed gas is accelerated by the further rise of a temperature within the spray chamber 1, the amount of the gas ejected from the spray chamber 1 through an opening 11 thereof is gradually increased, thus gradually extending generation of flames from secondary air feed ports (a) and (b) to tertiary air feed ports (c), (d), (e) and (f) in order. The outer wall surface of the spray chamber 1 is directly heated by the flames to cause a rapid increase in the temperature therein, whereby the total amount of the premixed gas composed of the atomized fuel and the primary air and fed through the ultrasonic injection nozzle 13 is gasified completely, and the flames are held only by the tertiary air feed ports (c), (d), (e) and (f) to be shifted to a stationary burning state. When the fuel feed is stopped, the flames are generated only at the secondary air feed ports (a) and (b), and the residual gas is completely burnt together with the primary air flowing in through the ultrasonic injection nozzle 13, thus preventing odor from being generated.
