Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title resin compsn. mainly consisting of a resin formulated liquid comprising a specified curable prepolymer, a specified halogenated fire-retardant monomer and a crosslinking vinyl monomer and being excellent in fire retardance and satisfactory in heat resistance, water resistance and punchability. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. consists chiefly of a liq. resin blend composed of 10-60wt.% curable prepolymer A having a (meth)acryloyl group at the end of its side chain of the formula as shown [where A is the main chain of a random copolymer of a vinyl monomer with a (meth)acryloyl monomer; R1-R3 are each H or CH3; n is 0-5], 5-50wt.% halogenated fire-retardant monomer B obtd. in such a manner that an addn. product of a mono- or dihydric alcohol contg. a Br- or Cl-contg. 1-18C aliph. or alicyclic satd. hydrocarbon group with epichlorohydrin, or a (poly)ether obtd. by repeated addn. of epichlorohydrin to said addn. product is reacted with 1-2mol. unsatd. isocyanate obtd. by reacting an unsatd. alcohol having a (meth)acryloyl group and diisocyanate in equimolar amt., and 5-70wt.% crosslinking vinyl monomer C.
