(Industrial Application Field) This invention relates to gold and silver thread. (Conventional technology and its problems) Conventional gold and silver threads are generally made of plastic film as a base material to give it a beautiful metallic luster.
An Al vapor deposition layer was formed. However, this material could not withstand processes such as high-pressure dyeing, silk scouring, and reactive dyeing, and its usage conditions were limited. For this reason, a protective layer baked at high temperature was provided on the Al vapor deposited layer, but this required a high temperature baking process, had low productivity, and was expensive. This invention eliminates the above drawbacks,
The object of the present invention is to provide gold and silver threads that can withstand these processes, do not require high-temperature baking, have good productivity, and can be manufactured at low cost, and have a beautiful metallic luster. (Means for solving the problem) This invention is based on a gold and silver thread having at least a plastic film and a metal vapor deposited layer, in which the metal vapor deposited layer is a Sn vapor deposited layer with a thickness of 300 to 1000 Å. It is characterized by gold and silver thread. This invention will be explained with reference to the drawings. This invention has at least a plastic film 10 such as a polyester film and a Sn vapor deposited layer 20 with a thickness of 300 to 1000 Å. The Sn deposition layer 20 can be formed by vacuum deposition, sputtering, ion plating, or the like. Sn vapor deposition layer 20
If it is thinner than 300 Å, a beautiful metallic luster will not be produced, and if the Sn vapor deposition layer 20 exceeds 1000 Å, the adhesion to the plastic film will be weak. If the vapor deposited layer is formed using a metal other than Sn, the beautiful metallic luster of the Al vapor deposited layer cannot be obtained. Only the Sn vapor-deposited layer exhibits a beautiful metallic luster that is almost the same as the Al-deposited layer. The specific structure of this invention is not particularly limited. For example, if necessary, an undercoat layer 30 is provided on one or both sides of the plastic film 10, and a Sn vapor deposition layer 20 with a thickness of 300 to 1000 Å is provided thereon.
A colored or uncolored top coat layer 40 made of acrylic, melamine, epoxy, polyurethane resin, etc. is provided on the Sn vapor deposited layer 20, or an undercoat layer 30 is provided on one side of the plastic film 10 if necessary. An example is a structure in which two Sn vapor deposited layers 20 with a thickness of ~1000 Å are bonded together with an adhesive 50 with the Sn vapor deposited layers 20 on the inside. Note that the undercoat layer 30 can be made of acrylic, melamine, epoxy, polyurethane resin, or the like, and the top coat layer 40 and the undercoat layer 30 can be any of those conventionally used for gold and silver threads. 1 to 6 are partially enlarged sectional views showing one embodiment of this invention. Furthermore, this invention includes not only gold and silver threads such as flat threads or flat foil threads, but also twisted gold and silver threads such as circular twists, sash twists, and hagoromo twists. (Example 1) On one side of a wide and long polyester film with a thickness of 12μ, a film with a thickness of 600Å was applied at a vacuum level of 2.66×10 -2 Pa.
A Sn vapor deposition layer was formed. Next, the two sheets thus obtained were pasted together with a polyurethane adhesive with the Sn vapor deposited layer on the inside, and this was cut lengthwise with a microslit to obtain gold and silver threads. (Example 2) On one side of a wide and long polyester film with a thickness of 12μ, a film with a thickness of 600Å was applied at a vacuum level of 2.66×10 -2 Pa.
A Sn vapor deposition layer was formed. Next, a acrylic-melamine resin mixed with a yellow dye was applied using a gravure method to form a top coat layer with a thickness of 1 μm, and this was further cut vertically with a microslit to obtain the resulting material. This was wound around a core yarn with the Sn vapor deposited layer on the inside to obtain a round twisted gold and silver yarn. (Comparative Example) The gold and silver threads obtained in Example 1 and Example 2 above, and Comparative Example 1 in which a 600 Å thick Al evaporated layer was formed in place of the 600 Å thick Sn evaporated layer in Example 1, and Comparative Example 2 in which a 600 Å thick Al vapor deposited layer was formed in place of the 600 Å thick Sn vapor deposited layer in Example 2 was used as a sample, and high pressure dyeing and silk scouring were performed under the following conditions.
