Abstract

PURPOSE:To dissolve the ripple propulsion by making such a construction that the teeth at both ends of an armature core and two pieces of teeth adjacent to them respectively are slantwise cut off from one longitudinal side toward the other longitudinal side. CONSTITUTION:An armature core 1 of a linear DC brushless motor is formed into such sections that cutting off was made slantwise at the face linking the teeth 1B at both ends, 1C next to 1B and 1D next to 1C with the edge G of the fourth teeth 1E from the edge F of the left outside of the teeth at the ends. The core 1 is formed by laminating a lot of laminations such as magnetic materials and silicon steel plates including the teeth of the ends slantwise cut off. Accordingly, the whole of core has skew effect on a permanent magnet 4 by the armature core 1, and the detent propulsion (ripple propulsion) caused by end-effect is formed into a sine waveform making one period of an electrode pitch.
