Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate laminating work by providing guide grooves for rib bars and play grooves in the outer portion of fan-type thin steel plates which are overlapped for a specified amount so that only one guide groove of the individual thin steel plate is engaged with the rib bar.
CONSTITUTION: In the outer portion of a fan-type thin steel plate, are alternately provided a guide groove 5 which is tightly engaged with the dovetail of a rib bar 7, and a play groove 6 which is loosely engaged with the rib bar with a gap 8 being provided. The distance between the individual grooves 5 and 6 is equal. The thin steel plates are laminated so that a specified amount of the area of the individual plates are overlapped, and only one guide groove 5 of the individual thin steel plate is engaged with the rib bar 7. In this constitution, since the play groove 6 can be aligned with the rib bar 7 without an extra care, the lamination work for the stator can be readily accomplished.
