Abstract

PURPOSE: To simply detect the length of a weft wound on a separator by changing the diameter of a transfer cam for winding the weft on the separator in coincidence with the diameter of a drum for winding and fixing the weft and then eccentrically rotating the transfer cam. CONSTITUTION: A weft delivered from a weft flier is wound on a transfer cam 23 for winding the weft on a separator through the slope of a drum 12 for winding and fixing the weft, transferred using the transfer cam 23 eccentrically attached to the shaft of a driving motor 1, and subsequently wound on the separator. Positions for attaching the drum 12 and the transfer cam 23 to an inclined eccentric bearing 21 are changed to change the diameter of the transfer cam 23 and the length of the weft to be measured.
