Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The objective bond is produced by compounding gypsum with granular perlite and small rubber chips and, as necessary, adding a cellulose ester, etc., to the mixture. The granular perlite is a balloon granule produced e.g. by crushing obsidian into granular form and expanding the granules. The small rubber chip is e.g. a waste generated in the manufacture of rubber tire. The cellulose ester is e.g. methylcellulose. The addition of the cellulose ester facilitates the application of the bond to the surface of e.g. a concrete construction with a trowel, etc. A preferable result in improving the elasticity can be achieved by adding some kind of vinyl polymer substance to the above composition.
