Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the exchange of an ozone filter by attaching the ozone filter to an exchange kit of a cleaning unit, etc. CONSTITUTION:An air suction port 38 is provided in the upper part of a printer body 10. The air sucked from said port into the upper part of the printer body 10 enters the inside of a charge chamber 32 and passes through the ozone filter 31 by which ozone is removed from the air. The air is emitted to the outside of the chamber 3 and is entered again into the upper part of the printer body 10, from which the air is discharged by a discharge fan 39 to the outside of the printer body 10. Since the ozone filter 36 is attached to the cleaning unit 23, the ozone filter 36 can be removed to the outside of the printer body 10 simultaneously with the removal of the unit 23 if said unit is removed from the printer body 10 and, therefore, the exchange and cleaning thereof are facilitated. Since a grid 35 is of a hermetic type, the direct contact of the ozone with a photosensitive body 15 is obviated and, therefore, the deterioration of the surface of the photosensitive body 15 is prevented.
