Abstract

A suction cleaner includes a filter compartment containing water and fitted with a motor-driven suction ventilator. The suction ventilator is connected through the container with an inlet opening for the dust laden air in such a way that the air flow sucked in flows through the water held in the container. The container (1) has at least two separate compartments (14, 15) divided by a separating wall and the cleaner is also fitted with devices guiding the air flow within the container so that it flows successively through the volume of water held in both compartments.
