５図は印字装置の主要部の構成を示す説明図であ
る。また、第６図は従来の印字テープの構成を示
すものであり、第６図ａは従来の貼付用印字テー
プの断面図、第６図ｂは従来のレタリング用印字
テープの断面図である。 図中、１は印字装置、１５は印字制御手段、１
７は印字ヘツド、１８はテープタイプ判別手段、
４０は貼付用印字テープ、４１はベースフイルム
、４２はインクリボン、４３は接着剤層、５０は
レタリング用印字テープ、５１はベースフイルム
、５２はインクリボンである。

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ベースフイルムと、そのベースフイルムの一方
    の面に接合されたインクリボンとからなり、その
    ベースフイルムの他方の面が接着面とされる貼付
    用印字テープと、 ベースフイルムと、そのベースフイルムに接合
    されたインクリボンとからなるレタリング用印字
    テープと、 印字ヘツドと、 その印字ヘツドの印字位置に配置された印字テ
    ープが前記貼付用印字テープであるか前記レタリ
    ング用印字テープであるかを判別する判別手段と
    、 その判別手段の判別結果に基づいて、前記貼付
    用印字テープには印字すべき文字パターンの実像
    を印字させ、前記レタリング用印字テープには印
    字すべき文字パターンの虚像を印字させる印字制
    御手段と を備えたことを特徴とする印字装置。
