Abstract
PURPOSE: To shorten a term for work and to prevent the occurrence of loosening of a ground without losing reliability on a strength by a method wherein a docking part is held by a filler with which the interior of a hood is filled, and a ground at the periphery thereof is cured with chemical grouting for sealing. CONSTITUTION: A back-and-forth slidable hood 8 is arranged at a small diameter outer shell 1b of an outer shell 1 of one shield machine, and the diameter of an outer shell 1' of the other shield auger is decreased to a value lower than the diameter of the hood 8. After the hood 8 of one shield machine is advanced together with a cutter 3 at a docking spot, the cutter 3 is moved backward, and a formed section 17 is filled with a filler 18. Thereafter, the tip of the other boring machine is fitted in the hood 8, chemical grouting is poured through a pipe 15 in a ground 21 at the outer periphery of a joint. The cured ground 21 and a cured zone 18 are excavated by the cutters 3 and 3' of the two machines for excavation-through, and thereafter the penetrated part is finished.
