Abstract
PURPOSE:To separate granular substances efficiently and transfer without being mixed with other granular substances by providing a slit-shaped fluid jetting outlet in a manner to be provided almost horizontally in the longitudinal direction and with its opening surface almost vertically. CONSTITUTION:A slit-shaped fluid jetting outlet is provided with its slit 1 almost horizontally in its longitudinal direction and almost vertically with an opening surface of the slit 1. As a result, separation of granular substances can be carried out well, and the substances can be transferred without being mixed with other granular substances. For example, ion exchange resin is separated into anion exchange resin in a mixed bed type ion exchange tower and an anion exchange resin layer is formed over a cation exchange resin layer for the purpose of transferring all of the anion exchange resins with an extremely good efficiency at the time of regenerating said anion exchange resin layer.
