Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent switch-off from being forgotten due to erroneous setting and to provide a more safety iron by successively changing-over a power feeding condition when the on-time of a setting temp. change-over switch is longer than a previously fixed time and attaining switch-off in case of an off-condition. CONSTITUTION: When the setting temp. change-over switch 6 is turned on within a fixed time, an output change-over circuit 10 outputs the signal of the power feeding condition of chemical fibers A. Then, when the switch 6 is turned on within a fixed time, the output change-over circuit 10 changes the power feeding condition and outputs the signal of the power feeding condition of the chemical fibers B. The signal of the power feeding condition from the output change-over circuit 10 is successively transmitted in order of off → chemical fibers A → B → C → wool → cotton →linen →off → ... → linen → ... whenever the switch is turned on within the previously decided time. In case of switch-on for more than a fixed time, the output change-over circuit successively changes-over the power feeding conditions by a signal from an on-time detecting circuit 9 and sets the power feeding condition in case the setting temp. change-over switch 6 is turned off.
