Abstract
PURPOSE:To greatly enhance rotary transformer characteristics such as a coupling coefficient, an inductance value and the like by a method wherein two series of a signal transmission system are constituted by one magnetic circuit and a facing area between its coils is specified. CONSTITUTION:For example, in order to divide a signal transmission system of six series into two series each, short rings 5 are installed at two parts between three groups united as the two series; a facing area of an outer cylindrical 1 core and an inner cylindrical core 2 between an external cylindrical coil 3 and an inner cylindrical coil 4 for the two series in individual groups, series 1 and series 2, series 3 and series 4, and series 5 and series 6 is sufficiently larger than a facing area at an upper part and a lower part. That is to say, the two series of the signal transmission system constitute one magnetic circuit; the facing area of the outer cylindrical core and the inner cylindrical core formed between the series can be made sufficiently large; accordingly, an input signal in one series does not interfere with the other series. By this setup, transformer characteristics such as a coupling coefficient, an inductance value and the like can be enhanced greatly.
