Abstract
PURPOSE:To fix and mount an image pickup element with high accuracy by providing a straight line fitting port fitted to an accurate hole of a mount base and a pressing means depressing a tapered pin having a tapered part engaged with an upper ridge of the mount hole of an image pickup element package in the direction of mount base. CONSTITUTION:An image pickup element package 3 adhered with a CCD 1 is placed onto a mount base 6 with press fit of vertical regulation pins 7A-7C. In this case, an error of the CCD 1 due to tilt is adjusted by interposing a washer between guards of the vertical regulation pins 7A-7C and the mount base 6. A pin 8 is penetrated through the mount holes 5A, 5B from the upper direction in this mount state and the straight line fitting part 8A is coupled to the accurate holes 6B, 6C of the mount base 6. Then a spring member 9 is screwed by a screw 9A so as to press the head of the pin 8. In this case, the image pickup element package 3 is positioned with high accuracy by the alignment action by the engagement between the taper 8B of the pin 8 and the upper ridge of the mount holes 5A, 5B and fixed by the vertical force component of the taper.
