Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize the critical current property by furnishing a specific first coat layer and second coat layer on the surface of either the particle of copper oxide at the surface layer of the particle of fine copper oxide scattered inside the layer, and then baking up the above oxide to produce an oxide superconductor at the surface part. CONSTITUTION:As a particle 10 consisting of copper oxide as a whole, a particle of a copper oxide such as CuO is used, and the particle diameter is made about 10 to 50mum. On the surface of such a particle 10, the first coat layer 11 with a uniform thickness is furnished, and moreover, the second coat layer 12 with also a uniform thickness is furnished thereover. For the composing material of the first coat layer 11, one or more of oxides of the group IIIa elements of the periodic table such as Sc and Lu are used, and for the composing material of the second coat layer 12, one or more of oxides of the group IIa elements of the periodic table such as Be, Sr, Mg, and Ba are used. The formation body obtained in such a way is baked up in the oxygen flow, and then cooled gradually. The resultant superconductive products come to present a stable critical current property.
