Conventionally, for example, vehicle ceilings have been made of a base material made by extruding a mixture of thermosetting resin and spread fibers into a sheet shape, and an integrally molded product of vinyl chloride resin, etc. It can be supported directly or by lifting wire or the like.

However, conventional vehicle ceilings are made entirely of resin, resulting in a large weight and poor sound absorption properties. Therefore, vehicle ceilings mainly made of cardboard layers have recently been proposed. However, this vehicle ceiling has a somewhat low mechanical strength and cannot provide satisfactory sound absorption characteristics.

The purpose of the present invention is to form an interior material for a vehicle with a two-layer structure consisting of at least a cardboard layer and a synthetic resin layer, to provide a portion with high mechanical strength by crimping a predetermined portion, and to form a needle hole in the cardboard layer. By providing this, the above-mentioned drawbacks are eliminated, and will be explained in detail below using examples.

Figures 1 and 2 show vehicle interior materials according to the present invention;
In particular, these are a side view and a perspective view of a vehicle ceiling, in which the vehicle ceiling 1 has a corrugated cardboard layer 4 made of a corrugated paper material 2 and a flat paper material 3 as shown in FIG.
and a glass wool layer 5 attached to the cardboard layer 4, the thickness of which is about 5 to 10 mm. The cardboard layer 4 is provided with countless needle holes 6, and the cardboard layer 4 and the glass wool layer 5 are placed between the female mold 7 and the male mold 8 as shown in FIG. It is then press-molded to make it suitable as a vehicle ceiling. In this case, a protruding strip 9 is formed on the inner wall of the female mold 7, and the protruding strip 9 presses some parts of the layers 4 and 5 larger than the other parts, so that the wall thickness is set to about 1.5 to 3 mm. In this way,
A reinforcing portion 10 is formed in the vehicle ceiling 1 in which the density of the layers 4 and 5 is increased and the mechanical strength is improved. For example, by forming a plurality of such reinforcing portions 10 vertically and horizontally as shown in FIG.
The overall strength of can be increased. In particular, by providing such a reinforcing portion 10 at the end of the vehicle ceiling 1, it is advantageous when this end is attached to a vehicle. Furthermore, according to this embodiment, the sound generated inside the vehicle is absorbed into the space formed by the corrugated paper material 2 through the needle holes 6 of the cardboard layer 4 located on the interior side, so that the sound absorption properties are improved. It is possible to increase it.
In particular, the sound absorption effect can be increased by the thick portion 11 where the reinforcing portion 10 is not formed, and the sound insulation, heat insulation, and cushioning properties can be further improved. Further, although the reinforcing portion 10 has a concave shape, this concave shape appears only on the vehicle roof panel side, and there is no possibility of spoiling the aesthetic appearance of the interior of the vehicle. Furthermore, the burrs generated when making the needle holes are pressed during the pull-pull process and do not appear on the outside.

Further, the shape of the reinforcing portion 10 is not limited to a narrow shape running vertically and horizontally, but may be other shapes such as a circular shape or a rectangular shape.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the synthetic resin layer and the cardboard layer are integrated, and the synthetic resin layer and the cardboard layer are partially pressure-bonded, so that the surface of the synthetic resin layer side has a higher density than the other parts. Since the crimped portion consisting of a recess is provided and holes are provided in the cardboard layer at least at locations other than the crimped portion, mechanical strength and sound absorption effect can be improved.
