For example, on the surface of pad materials such as urethane foam, felt, and glass wool, vinyl chloride sheets, EVA
Composite materials made by polymerizing skin materials such as sheets and rubber sheets are used. By the way, it is well known that the darts panel and cowl panel that form part of the automobile body have an undulating three-dimensional surface, and for this reason, the silencer attached to these panels also has an undulating three-dimensional surface. It needs to be molded into a suitable shape. Therefore, in the past, the above-mentioned composite materials were formed using various mold forming methods such as hot pressing, cold pressing, and vacuum forming, but such molding requires high mold costs and equipment. There was a major drawback. Furthermore, it took a long time to heat the mold and cool the molded product during molding, resulting in poor productivity.

The present invention provides a skin material in which a crush line is formed. In this way, the crushing line can be formed simply and easily by embossing (creating a pattern), thereby reducing mold costs, simplifying production equipment, significantly improving productivity, and reducing heat sources. It is.

The automobile silencer shown in the figure is constructed by integrally forming a dash part 2 that covers a dash panel 1 and a cowl part 4 that covers a cowl panel 3, and is made by polymerizing a pad material 6 on one side of a skin material 5. Here, the skin material 5 is a vinyl chloride sheet, EVA
The pad material 6 is made of a sound-insulating material such as a sheet or a rubber sheet, and the pad material 6 is made of a sound-absorbing material such as urethane foam, felt, or glass wool. Therefore, the darts panel 1 and the cowl panel 3 are attached to the darts section 2 and the cowl section 4.
A crush line 7 is formed on the skin material 5 in response to the fact that the vehicle has an undulating three-dimensional surface (this three-dimensional surface is due to the fact that the cooler unit, transmission, tires, and various instruments are accommodated in the vehicle body). This makes it easy to bend along the crush line. 8 is a cooler unit section defined in the dash section 2 by the crush line 7;
Reference numeral 9 indicates a transmission section, and 10 and 10 indicate tire sections, respectively.

7を形成すればよいものである。 The crush line 7 is formed, for example, by the method shown in FIGS. 3 and 5. That is, in the method shown in FIG. 3, a flat base material 11 obtained by polymerizing the pad material 6 on the skin material 5 described above is set between an upper mold 12 and a lower mold 13 with the skin material 5 facing upward. At this time, a round-tipped protrusion 14 is formed on the upper surface of the lower mold 13 along the crush line to be formed on the base material 11, and by pressing the upper mold 12 against the lower mold 13, the lower mold 13 is pressed. As shown in FIG.
is crushed to form a thin wall portion 15 therein as shown in FIG. In addition, in the method shown in this example figure, the protrusion 14 was formed on the lower mold 13, but
The invention is not limited to this, and for example, although not shown, protrusions may be formed in opposing shapes on both the upper and lower molds, and a crush line may be formed in the skin material by aligning the protrusions on both the upper and lower molds. Alternatively, as another method, a protrusion is provided on either the upper mold or the lower mold, a recessed groove into which the protrusion fits is formed on the other, and the protrusion and the recessed groove are fitted. By doing so, a crush line may be formed in the skin material. In short, it is sufficient to form a thin crush line 7 on the skin material 5 so that it can be bent into a desired three-dimensional shape.

may be polymerized. Additionally, by trimming to match the outline of the silencer at the same time as embossing, the number of manufacturing steps can be reduced.

である。 However, the silencer of the present invention is made to be easily bent along the three-dimensional surface of the automobile body by forming a crush line on the skin material, and this crush line is embossed (customized) from the top and bottom surfaces of the skin material. Since it can be easily obtained by simply adding
There is no need to use a mold as in the past, reducing mold costs and simplifying equipment. In addition, unlike traditional heat presses, there is no need to heat the mold or cool down the molded product, which greatly improves productivity.Furthermore, since no heating is required, it can contribute to energy savings, among other benefits. It has the following.
