Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an ill wheel alignment by furnishing a wheel apron reinforcement and reinforcing members linked to a front frame near the strut mount of a wheel apron at the inside of the car body. CONSTITUTION:Vertical reinforcing members 7 and 8 of a closed section structure are furnished linking to a wheel apron reinforcement 4 and a front frame 5 at the front and the rear sides of a strut mount 3a at the engine room 6 side of a wheel apron 1. Moreover, a lateral reinforcing member 9 is furnished linking to the vertical reinforcing members 7 and 8. In such a structure, loads inflicted to a suspension tower 3 following bumpers and rebounds of wheels are dispersed and shared by a high rigidity closed section reinforcement structure of the wheel apron 1 and the vertical and lateral reinforcing members 7-9. Consequently, a deformation of the suspension tower 3 is prevented and an ill wheel alignment can be prevented.
