Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a diaphragm for a speaker in which physical properties can be freely selected and an internal loss is large by using an inorganic powder or an alginate fiber including the inorganic powder and the organic powder. CONSTITUTION:Alginic acid soda (molecular weight 6X10<5>) 100-200g and water 2.5l are added, sufficiently mixed by a kneader and a consistent liquid is obtained. While the powder of carbon graphite is added to the consistent liquid little by little, it is uniformly mixed, and the spinning solution of sodium alginate in which the inorganic powder is dispersed, namely, a dope is prepared. Next, this is introduced to a spinning raw material supplying tank 4, and the deformed dope is discharged from a nozzle 3 into a coagulation liquid in a first coagulation bath 7 to subject it to a reaction. After the manufactured alginate fiber is washed with water, it is cut into staples with approximate fiber length of 3mm. Thus, the alginate fiber is obtained and a diaphragm for an electric/ acoustic converter is formed. Thus, since the diaphragm is made and formed with the alginate fiber including a fine-grain as a main body, the physical properties can be freely selected.
