CONSTITUTION:A lithium alloy capable of discharging lithium or lithium ions is used as the active material of a negative electrode 3, and a material performing the reversible reaction electrochemically with lithium ions for a long time is used as the active material of a positive electrode 4. A solution solved with lithium salt in an organic solvent is used as an electrolyte. A pressure jig 7 made of a Belleville spring is arranged so that the pressure of 15kg f/cm<2>-150kg f/cm<2> is applied vertically to electrode faces in cell cases 1, 2. The volume change of the internal constituting material can be coped with by the elasticity of this pressure jig 7 with the distortion stress.
