Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the fixability of a toner at low temp. and to form a high quality image by using a resin binder contg. a crystalline polymer having a prescribed m.p. and an amorphous polymer having a prescribed glass transition point in the toner and by developing a negative electrostatic latent image with the toner. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of a latent image support of an org. photoconductive semiconductor is developed with a toner contg. 0.5-50wt.% crystalline polymer having 50-120 deg.C m.p. Tm and 99.5-50wt.% amorphous polymer having 50-80 deg.C glass transition point Tg in the resin binder. The hot offsetting temp. of the toner increases, the toner can be fixed at a low temp. without offsetting and a high quality image with no streaks is formed.
