Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the displacement of an operating point stably, by a constitution, wherein the relative distance between a magnetic field generating element and the thin band of an amorphous ferromagnetic body is changed when a material to be measured is displaced, and the change in self-inductance of a detecting coil due to said change is detected. CONSTITUTION:A relative distance to a magnetic field generating element 6, which generates a constant magnetic field, is changed with the displacement of a material to be measured 5. A strip shaped thin band 2 of an amorphous ferromagnetic body is arranged so that said distance is changed. A constant minute AC is made to flow through a detecting oil 3, in which said thin band 2 is a magnetic core, and the self-inductance of the coil is detected with a detector circuit 4. When the material to be measured 5 is displaced and the relative distance between the magnetic field generating element 6 and the thin band 2 is changed, the magnetic field, which is applied to the coil wherein the thin band 2 is the magnetic core from the magnetic field generating element 6, is changed. The change is converted into the change in self-inductance of the detecting coil 3, and the displacement of the material to be measured is detected.
