Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve control response by varying control gain in feedback control of idle rotation according to existence of feedback control of the air-fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION:An idle rotation control valve 10 is arranged in an auxiliary intake path 9 provided in an intake path 2 of an engine 1 while bypassing a throttle valve 4. The idle rotation control valve 10 is controlled by a control unit 15 together with a fuel injection nozzle 12 or a distributor 16 based on detection signals of various sensors 5-7, 11, 13, 14 for detecting the operating state of the engine 1. When the idle rotation is feedback controlled, control gain is varied corresponding to whether feedback control of air-fuel ratio is carried out or not.
