Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable sure sucking of a yarn end irrespective of the winding diameter of a yarn bobbin, by movably placing a plate member to an outer wall of the tip end of a suction nozzle for pulling out a yarn end from a pirn. CONSTITUTION:A yarn end is pulled out from a pirn attached to winder by the following apparatus. A suction nozzle 1 to approach its tip end to the pirn has a suction tip opening 1a having nearly rectangular cross-section. A plate member 6 is attached to an outer wall of the tip part of the suction nozzle 1 and the projection of the plate member 6 beyond the suction opening 1a is made to be adjustable.
