Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain the operation of an engine to the optimum by integrally forming a valve body with a bar type valve member having a curved surface part opposite to a valve seat on its end and a movable core with the corresponding part on the other side of the curved surface part being projected out of the core. CONSTITUTION:The inclination angle of the valve seat 5 of a nozzle body 2 and the diameter of the curved surface of a valve body 4 are determined so that the sum total of the capacities of a space formed between the valve seat 5 and the curved surface part of the valve body 4 opposite to it and the space of the injection port 6 of the nozzle body 2 may be as small as possible. Thereby, due to the high speed operation of the valve body 4 and stable flow rate control in a high temperature atmosphere, a wide flow rate control can be carried out while further enabling the flow rate control with high accuracy. Also, since the injection pressure of a fuel injected out of the injection port 6 is increased due to a reduced loss in flow while giving a sufficient revolving force, the fuel can be injected and fed with an excellent atomizing characteristic even in a low temperature atmosphere. Accordingly, the operation of an engine can be stabilized while maintaining a high combustion efficiency and further increasing an operating zone.
