Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease residual strains and to prevent warpage by disposing projections of at least either of an outside circumferential spacer and inside circumferential spacer to a discontinuous annular shape. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 1 is constituted by disposing two sheets of disk substrates 3a, 3b to face each other with recording medium layers 4a, 4b positioned on the inner side and sticking the substrates via the outside circumferential spacer 5 and the inside circumferential spacer 6. The substrates are welded by welded parts 8 which are ultrasonically welded in the projecting parts provided on respective both sides and are thereby changed from the projections. The projections of the outside circumferential spacer 5 and the inside circumferential spacer 6 which constitute the welded parts 8 are discontinuous and are uniformly disposed to the annular shape. The internal stresses remaining in the substrates are thereby decreased and the warpage is prevented.
