Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the assembly of an information storage medium formed by sticking two substrates, each having an information-formed layer on one surface, together with a spacer between, by forming positioning engagement stage parts at both the end surface parts of the spacer. CONSTITUTION:Through an internal spacer 4 and an external spacer 5 arranged concentrically, substrates 1 are stuck with information-formed layers 3 in while a hollow part 6 is formed between the counter surfaces of the information- formed layers 3, forming an information storage medium 7. At the external circumference parts of both the end surfaces of the spacers 4, positioning fitted stage parts 9 for the centering of rotation where the internal circumference parts 1a of the substrates 1 fit are formed. The external spacer 5 is formed annularly, and at the internal circumference parts of both its end surfaces, positioning fitted stage parts 10 for the centering of rotation where the external circumference parts 1b of the substrates 1 fit are formed. Thus, an air sandwich type information storage medium is assembled easily and securely while the eccentricity of each member is reduced as much as possible.
