Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a pump usable even in case of a low water level by erecting a self-priming pipe which opens the upper end to an upper part in an outer barrel along an outer circumference of the closed outer barrel surrounding the canned motor pump and the lower end to a lower part in a water tank, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A self-priming pipe 9 is erected on the outer circumference of a closed outer barrel 5 surrounding a pump part 1 and a canned motor 4 and leading a discharge port 2 alone to the upper part. An upper end of this self-priming pipe 9 is opened to an upper part in the outer barrel 5, and the lower end is opened so as to be approximated to a lower part floor surface 7 in a water tank. The inside of this outer barrel 5 comes to a vacuum by starting of a pump, whereby water in the tank is sucked in from the self-priming pipe 9. Consequently, lifting can be performed until a water level in the tank is reached to a low stopping level. In addition, since the self-priming pipe 9 is erected along the outer circumference of the closed outer barrel 5, there is such an advantage that a diameter of the outer barrel 5 is formed into a small one.
