Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The high strength sintered alloy is formed with, by weight, 78-98wt.% hard phase consisting of at least one kind among the carbides, nitrides, carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides and borides of the 4a, 5a and 6a group metals and the solid solutions thereamong and the balance hard phase consisting essentially of Ni and Co with inevitable impurities. >=200kg/mm<2> compressive stress is provided to the hard phase on the surface of said sintered alloy by a sandblasting method, etc. In this way, the strength of the sintered alloy consisting of a case surface or ground surface is improved as well as the quality of said alloy is stabilized.
