Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled laminated board having small dimensional change even after repeated heat-treatment, by using a tung oil-modified phenolic polymer varnish having lower concentration than top coating varnish, impregnating the undercoating varnish in a paper substrate, drying the varnish, impregnating a top-coating varnish having higher concentration in the substrate and drying the varnish. CONSTITUTION:A polymer is impregnated and dried in a paper substrate in two steps comprising under-coating step and top-coating step. A tung oil- modified phenolic polymer varnish having lower concentration than top coating varnish is impregnated as an under-coating in the paper substrate and dried. Thereafter, a varnish having higher concentration is impregnated as a topcoating in the paper substrate and dried to obtain an impregnated paper sheet. The objective laminated board is produced by laminating the paper sheets.
