Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve high-frequency properties, dimensional stability and remaining bubbles within a hole of a core piece, by a method wherein an insulating layer is formed of specific heat-resistant thermoplastic resin reinforced with an inorganic fiber. CONSTITUTION:A layer 2 insulating a metallic core piece 1 provided with a large number of through holes 11 is constituted of specific heat-resistant thermoplastic resin 3, inorganic fiber cloth 4 and an inorganic short fiber 5 or an inorganic particle. Resin comprised of any of polyether ether ketone, polyphenylene sulfide and polyether sulfone by selecting out of those is used as the heat-resistant thermoplastic resin 3. Although woven fabric and nonwoven fabric are available as inorganic fiber cloth 4, both of them may be used singly respectively or jointly.
