Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the use of all the sands mold to be continuously supplied by pouring a molten metal into the cavities of the sand molds which are arrayed and transferred and exerting the pressure counter to the pressure of the molten metal to the sand molds in the part of the sand mold array where the progression of the molds starts or ends. CONSTITUTION:The sand molds 2 are arrayed on conveying rolls 3 and progress toward a sand mold receiving device. The molten metal 5 is poured from sprues 4 into the cavities constituted of the adjacent sand molds 2 at the time of progression. A cylinder rod 8 in a mounting box 6 mounted to the front of a supplying device 1 apart therefrom is projected to press a pressure plate 9 to the front face of the foremost sand mold 2a, thereby exerting a proper pressing force thereto. After all the sand molds 2 are delivered, plural pieces of blocks 10 are fed continuously from the device 1 side. The front face of the foremost block 10 progresses by coming into contact with the rear face of the last sand mold 2b so that the pressing force is exerted to the sand mold 2b from backward.
