Abstract

PURPOSE:To set one-surface document/both-face copying mode and to execute both-face copying without consideration of a user about the number of sheets of a document by installing an ejection control means for ejecting paper outside a copying machine and a waiting control means for keeping the paper waiting in a paper resupply means till plural actions by the next supply of document. CONSTITUTION:The titled machine has the ejection control means for ejecting the paper outside the copying machine without forming a copied image on the back surface of the paper, as it is, at the time of deciding that the number of sheets of a document is >=2 and stopping copying actions in a state where copying paper is housed in the paper resupply means 103, and the waiting control means for keeping the copying paper waiting in the paper resupply means until the copying actions by the next supply of the document at the time of deciding that the number of sheets of the document is not >=2 and stopping the copying actions in a state where the copying paper is housed in the paper resupply means 103. Thus both-face copying is made possible in the one-surface document/both-face copying mode even if the document is set on the document platen part 351 of an ADF (automatic document feeder) 300 one by one, and the paper is automatically ejected outside the copying machine if odd sheets of document more than three are set on the document platen part 351 of the ADF.
