Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the adhesion and sealing property of a hot-melt adhesive and to facilitate the exchange of members by engaging an engaging member with the recessed groove of the member to be engaged, sealing the groove, and then injecting and charging the adhesive into the gap between both materials from an injection hole provided at the bottom of the recessed groove. CONSTITUTION:For example, when the reflecting mirror 1 of a head lamp for an automobile, etc., is engaged with a lens 4, the periphery 4a of the lens 4 is engaged with the recessed groove 2 formed on the periphery of the mirror 1, and the peripheries of both materials are fixed through a clamp 5. The hot- melt adhesive W is then injected and charged into the whole region of the gap 7 partitioned by the recessed groove 2 and the periphery 4a of the lens from the injection hole 6 formed in the bottom wall 2a of the recessed groove 2. As a result, a gap is not formed between the engaging members, and the good adhesion and sealing property can be kept at all times. In addition, since the hot-melt adhesive W is used, the reflecting mirror 1 or the lens 4 can be easily detached and exchanged.
