Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve comfortableness of an elevator by controlling the three phase induction motor for an oil pump drive by an invertor power source and its control device.
CONSTITUTION: The drive motor 1 of a hydraulic elevator is speed-controlled by an invertor control power source 11 and at the lifting time of an elevator, the start current of the motor 1 is limited and the voltage fluctuation given to the power source is reduced and the elevator is operated comfortably. At its lowering time, the motor 1 is rotated by a synchronizing speed or more and an electric power is regenerated to the invertor power source 11 by the action as a generator. This regeneration power is accumulated in a capacitor by the direct current circuit in the invertor power source 11 and when it is increased, this power is consumed as a thermal energy by outside control resistance unit 12. Thus, the capacity of an electric power source facility can be minified by controlling the start current of the motor 1 and reducing the influence given to the power source of a power supply system of the input side of the invertor power source 11. The temperature rise of a hydraulic oil is lowered and an oil amount is reduced and a comfortableness is improved.
