Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect a pipe current with high accuracy with a specific operation expression by allowing four or more contact pieces to bring into contact with the inner surface of a metal pipe, and measuring a voltage between the contact pieces of the inside in a state that a constant-current source is not connected between the outermost contact pieces. CONSTITUTION:An underground buried pipe 21 is constituted by forming an asphalt cover 23 on the outer periphery of a metal pipe 22. In the pipe 22, plural mobile bodies 25-28 are inserted, and they are connected to each other by flexible cables 29-31, always keep an interval constant and run in the direction as indicated with an arrow 45. Also, on the mobile bodies 25-28, conductive contact pieces 32, 33; 36, 37; 34 and 35 are provided vertically, respectively, and their tips are brought into contact with the inner surface of the pipe 22. First of all, a voltage V1 between each contact piece 33, 36; 36, 37; 37 and 34 is measured by voltmeters 41-43, respectively. Subsequently, a DC constant-current source 38 is connected between the contact piece 32 and 35, a current DELTAI determined in advance is allowed to flow, and in the same way, a voltage V2 is measured by the voltmeters 41-43.
