Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the sensitivity of a sensor having a small area by distributing and placing a joined part of a different kind metal of a thermocouple, on the whole sensitive surface. CONSTITUTION:A base B1 of a first layer which has a hole 13-1 in the center part, and has installed plural thermocouples onto its upper face has 12 pairs of hot contact parts of the thermocouple on the outside peripheral part of its inner hole. Also, 9 pairs and 5 pairs are added to the number the respective hot contact parts which have been installed to bases B2, B3 of the second and the third layers. A sensor is completed by preparing a can 32 provided with an infrared-ray filter 31 on the head part, and on the other hand, installing a base B provided with a thermopile on a multi-layer, to a head 32 provided with a heat sink 33, connecting them in series, and sealing in stabilized gas in a state that both its terminals T0, T5 have been connected to a lead wire 35. In such a way, the sensitivity of the sensor having a small area can be raised.
