Abstract
PURPOSE: To load stacked works in orderly manner carrying works stacked in multi-stages into partitions being positioned on a pallet corresponding to the arrangement of stacked works then removing the partitions.
CONSTITUTION: Partitions 30 are inserted longitudinally and laterally according to the dimensions and the shapes of stacked works which are loaded onto a pallet P. The partitions 30 comprises a plurality of gripping members 46, positioning members 47 and pallet correcting members 48. The gripping members 46 are arranged symmetrically on the upper face of the partition 30. The positioning members 47 are arranged symmetrically at the opposite ends in moving direction of the pallet P and engaged with a partition positioning base 49 arranged on the floor face. When the side wall of the pallet P is curved as shown by dash and dot lines, the correcting members 48 co-operate with the gripping members 46 to correct the side wall as shown by lines 14. When stacked works W are loaded through a robot into matrix formed by the partition members 30, the partition members 30 are removed by the robot. Consequently, stacked works can be loaded in orderly manners.
