Abstract

PURPOSE:To always receive image without any influence of magnetization such as irregularity in coloring by discharging a voltage charged in a capacitor to a degaussing coil automatically. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is applied, a transistor Q1 turns on to charge the capacitor C1. After the lapse of a prescribed time, a transistor Q4 turns on, so that a control signal is transmitted from the output terminal 2 of a control circuit 1 via an AND circuit 5. By this control signal, transistors Q1', Q2 are turned on as well as the transistor Q1 is turned off. Accordingly, the voltage charged in the capacitor C1 is discharged to the degaussing coil L through the transistor Q2. An AC current that attenuates gradually is made flow through the coil L by selecting the values of the inductance, the internal of the coil L itself and selecting the value of the capacitance of the capacitor C1.
