Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the safety of the burner by stopping the combustion of the burner on the basis of a tank separation signal from a tank detecting part and starting the combustion only when turning on an operating switch for resuming the operation after turning off the switch. CONSTITUTION:When an operating switch 12 is turned on, a microcomputer 22 shifts the mode of operation to a combustion sequence and allows the burner to burn in accordance with a normal combustion control program. When a cartridge tank 8 is extracted under such conditions, a switch 9 is turned off and a tank detection part 10 detects it. A combustion control part 11 detects a fault on the basis of a tank separation signal from the tank detection part 10. If there is a fault, the control part stops the combustion, the microcomputer 22 releases fault processing when the operating switch 12 is turned off, and thereafter monitors whether or not the operating switch 12 is turned on. In this case, when the cartridge 8 is finished with feeding of kerosene and reset, the switch 9 is turned on. If the operating switch 12 is turned on, the combustion is started by carrying out operations mentioned initially.
